There's a Quinto ride that our teacher shared with us early on, several years ago, and I've known about it for many years, but just yesterday wanted to write it out and see what the notation would look like in comparison with clave.
Well, there it is! It's the middle one - "Green Acres" ride.
See if you can hear the Green Acres theme song when you play it!
Ha! Makes a cool ride doesn't it!??

I want to use this practice page for sure, Dave. thanks for putting it together. can you post a breakdown of your notation -- B is bass, O is tone... what's M? T is toe of heel-toe, I'm assuming... thanks... Yuka looks awesome, I want to sort that one out.

BTW, this notation comes from the prefered method at Bart Elliott's Drummer Cafe, and it is probably the most widely used and understood method,, though there are infinite variations..
Yep, B is bass, O is tone, M is muffled tone, a heel Toe would be a Bass followed by a T or Touch. S is slap.
        Did I miss any?
The only other thing is to understand the basic timing. 6/8 or 4/4..
